Over the years, we’ve both completely renovated our own homes, helped friends hunt down the right art, rugs, furniture, and finishing pieces, and spent more hours than we can count digging through estate sales, antique shops, and Facebook Marketplace. We’re drawn to pieces with history, patina, and personality — the things that make a home feel like yours instead of everyone else’s.
As moms, we also know firsthand that a home is never really “finished.” Kids grow, routines change, rooms need to work differently, and suddenly the space that made perfect sense a few years ago doesn’t anymore. For us, that’s part of the fun.
